The Importance of Supervision
Clinical supervision for counsellors is essential to maintain skills, boundaries, ethics, effectiveness, and balance during a career in counselling. I received advanced training in clinical supervision through the Wilfred Laurier University. Licensed and insured, I meet the qualifications as a Supervisor under the CRPO guidelines for both RP and QRP professionals. My goal is to help clinicians grow their awareness and skills in a Person of the Therapist model. Although we may talk about specific modalities, the focus of supervision is on the therapeutic process. Let me help you bring the best version of yourself into the room with your clients. You’ll feel more effective, and your clients will feel more connected.
Individual Supervision
I reserve room in my schedule to provide Individual Supervision to practitioners on a weekly basis. A detailed supervision contract will guide our work together. To schedule this service please see the online booking page. Any questions may be directed to me via email or phone. It is each clinician’s responsibility to make sure my degree as a social worker(MSW) meets the requirements of supervision for their professional college. I am a social worker in good standing with the OCSWSSW. Dyadic Supervision is also available.
Group Supervision
A more cost effective alternative is weekly small(4 person) Group Supervision. Please email me if you wish to join the wait list for Group Supervision as this service will begin as each 4 person group is identified.
